Chance – The Gambler Sentinel of FORSAKEN
Who is Chance?

Chance in Forsaken — The luck-based long-range survivor who gambles everything, even his own life.
Chance, the sharp-suited wild card with a busted flintlock and a fedora full of RNG, is one of the most unpredictable Survivors in Roblox FORSAKEN. As someone who's played dozens of high-stakes rounds with him, I can confidently say this — Chance can be trash-tier or game-changing, depending entirely on how lucky you are. If you like adrenaline-fueled risk and outsmarting killers with RNG, buckle up — this guide’s for you.
Skills & Gameplay Breakdown
Base Stats
Chance is a long-range Sentinel Survivor who’s incredibly high-risk, high-reward. He’s not beginner-friendly, but once mastered, he can completely control the pace of a match from a distance — if Lady Luck's on your side.
Passive Ability
Unpredictable Fate
"TAKE A CHANCE WITH CHAAAANCE BABY" - Chance
Keep an eye on your starting health — it impacts how many Weakness stacks you can afford to build.
Active Skills
Coin Flip (Chance’s Favor)(Q)
Cooldown: 0.5s
"I gambled with my LIFE" - ???\n"Did you win though?" - Chance
Avoid flipping during chases. High Weakness stacks can quickly lead to your death, especially if One Shot backfires.
One Shot(E)
Cooldown: 40s
"You only have one shot." - Talking Cat
Always use at 3 charges for 90% success rate. Never use if Weakness is above level 4 unless you want to risk instant death.
Reroll(R)
Cooldown: 20s
"Just one more go at it and I’ll be a millionaire!" - A College Student in Debt
Use early after your first coin flip to stabilize your HP. Stack charges only if you need tankier builds.
Hat Fix(T)
Cooldown: 60s
"This hat demonstrates good taste and exudes class." - Roblox
Ideal after landing a stun and when you're out of the killer’s range. Don’t sit on high stacks too long — Weakness X can be lethal.
Gameplay Tips
Chance thrives in the shadows — a passive sniper who sets up his luck before stepping in to save the team.
Tip: Your playstyle needs to switch depending on your luck. Bad RNG? Play safe. Good RNG? Dominate.
- Always use One Shot at 3 charges. It’s not worth gambling earlier unless you're desperate.
- Don’t flip coins during a chase unless your health is below 20. Risk of death from Weakness is real.
- If you hit Weakness X or higher, do NOT use One Shot — it will literally kill you.
- Use first-person or Shift Lock to aim the flintlock precisely.
- Aim from medium distance, not too far. At close range, the stun duration is longest.
- Use Hat Fix early if you already have decent stats — stalling for perfect rolls will get you killed.
- When stunning, try shooting killers using slow windups (like John Doe’s Corrupt Energy or 1x1x1x1’s Mass Infection) — free stuns.
- Against Jason, fake aiming your gun can bait his Raging Pace, giving your team breathing room.
Strategy & Counterplay
Playing Chance
Want to carry as Chance? Build up three charges using Coin Flip and then unleash One Shot at the perfect time.
- Focus on maps with long sightlines like Classic Canyon or Underground Station.
- I usually reroll right after my first heads/tails. Getting HP close to 100+ makes a huge difference.
- Once you stun a killer, always run opposite of their direction to regen stamina. Don’t get greedy.
- Coin Flip stacking is risky — always keep track of how many tails you've hit, so you know when it’s Hat Fix time.
How to Counter Chance
Chance may look slick, but he's one of the squishiest Survivors early game — especially if RNG screws him.
- Exploit his vulnerability after he flips the coin. Listen closely — tails causes a subtle groan sound effect.
- If he turns and starts aiming, strafe left or right — his flintlock is a long, thin hitbox, and it’s easy to dodge if you keep moving.
- As Jason, activate Raging Pace the second he starts aiming — it can deny the stun entirely.
- If you hear the “snap” sound (Reroll), he’s trying to fix his HP. That’s your time to rush him down.
- Don’t assume he’s weak — always assume he's charged and lucky. Playing cocky against a good Chance is a fast way to get stunned and left behind.
Appearance & Skins
Chance rocks a clean, casino-ready look: black fedora, suit and tie, clockwork headphones, and always wearing shades. He’s got that “smooth-talker in trouble” vibe. His flintlock pistol looks like it’s one flip away from falling apart.
Current skins:
- Default Skin – The classic black-tie gambler look.
- More skins to be added when official variants drop.
Character Lore & Background
Chance came from money — born into luxury and endless roulette tables. But his craving for adrenaline and luck got him tangled up with the wrong crowd — namely iTrapped, the one manipulated by the Darkheart.
The final game between them? A Russian roulette match that Chance kept surviving. That was the last time anyone saw Chance... until he woke up inside FORSAKEN.
Now, he’s here doing what he does best: gambling with his life on every coin toss.
If you love characters with risk-fueled mechanics and psychological twists, Chance’s lore hits all the right notes.
Summary & Game Links
If you like RNG-heavy Survivors, long-range stuns, and adrenaline-fueled skill expression, you need to give Chance a shot in Roblox FORSAKEN.
He’s not for everyone — but once you learn how to manage risk, there’s nothing more satisfying than a clutch 4-second stun from across the map.
