Jason – The Relentless Killer of FORSAKEN
Who is Jason?

Jason in Forsaken — Newly updated slasher killer design before full "Slasher" rebrand.
Jason, the masked butcher from Area 51, is a blood-soaked hunter that turns every match into a deadly slasher flick. I’ve spent countless matches using him, and believe me — once you master his stamina management and ability timing, you can snowball matches with brutal efficiency. Whether you’re looking to mop up lobbies or learn how to survive against him, this guide is packed with everything I’ve learned grinding games with and against Jason.
Skills & Gameplay Breakdown
Base Stats
Jason is a high-damage, close-range melee killer with no ranged options. He’s not the easiest to play due to his stamina dependence and punishable cooldowns — but his Bleeding debuff, AoE hits, and ENRAGED bonuses make him a monster in the right hands.
Passive Ability
Mute
Cooldown: s
Make them remember! - Mother
This passive was removed in the Noli Update.
Active Skills
Slash(Mouse 1)
Cooldown: 1.9s
Make them remember! - Mother
Quick attack with deceptively long reach — great for fast damage or finishing off low-health survivors.
Behead(Q)
Cooldown: 18.5s
No place to hide. - Mother
Great for opening chases or disabling key survivor abilities like stuns or dashes. Try not to miss — but even if you do, the penalty is small.
Gashing Wound(E)
Cooldown: 40s
It'll be easier for you than it was for him. - Mother
Use when the survivor is low on stamina or trapped. Missing this wastes time — don't throw it randomly.
Raging Pace(R)
Cooldown: 30s
Kill them! - Mother
Excellent for chase re-engagement and stun baiting. Activate before a stun to 'parry' it — pairs well with Gashing Wound or Behead.
Gameplay Tips
Jason excels at relentless melee pressure. I love running him against scattered teams or when I want to punish overconfident Sentinels. His kit is all about shutting down abilities and capitalizing on mistakes.
Tip: Play Jason as a stamina mindgame killer. Don’t sprint unless you absolutely have to — bait survivors into thinking you're out of stamina, then pop Raging Pace and chase them down. His reach and hitboxes are deceptive too — Slash hits further than it looks.
Use Behead early in a chase to cancel a stun or force the survivor to panic. If their abilities are locked out, they’re basically food for you. Gashing Wound is a finishing move — don’t waste it unless they’re cornered or distracted.
Strategy & Counterplay
Playing Jason
To dominate with Jason, think like a slasher. Cut off escape routes, save stamina, and let your abilities do the work. Start chases with Behead to deny their escape tools, then follow up with Slash or Gashing Wound once they're low.
On tighter maps like Ruins or Cabin, Jason is a menace — especially if survivors group up.
In my matches, I often:
- Start with Raging Pace, find the aura
- Lunge in with Behead to cancel their first response
- Finish with Gashing Wound or a few quick Slash hits
This combo wipes teams fast, especially if they panic or split up.
How to Counter Jason
Jason's terrifying, but not unstoppable. The trick is distance and stamina awareness.
He’s fast — tied with c00lkidd — so never run in a straight line. Zig-zag, double back, use corners and buildings.
If you're a Sentinel, save your stun for when he's NOT using Raging Pace.
If you see him charging Gashing Wound near a Taph trap or Builderman wall, bait it — it’ll waste his cooldown.
As Guest 1337, block during his Gashing Wound to get a free punch.
I’ve seen so many Jasons waste Behead on nothing — make them miss and punish it hard.
Survivors like Elliot or 007n7 need to stay FAR back. If you get Beheaded, your escape kit is useless. And always keep an eye on cooldowns — if Behead is 5s away from being up, play safe.
Appearance & Skins
Jason’s look screams classic slasher — grimy tan coat, black undershirt, blood-stained machete, and a chainsaw on his back. His hockey mask is iconic, drawn from his Freddy vs. Jason look.
He currently has 23 skins (most in the game), including:
- Hitbox Accurate – A meta-joke skin referencing his not-so-accurate hitbox memes.
- Michael Myers & Leatherface Skins – (Removed due to copyright)
- dlt Skin – Only killer with a non-blocky body in this version.
Expect a full redesign into “Slasher” soon due to copyright issues, but his mask and brutal vibe will stay.
Character Lore & Background
Jason is straight outta Friday the 13th — drowned as a kid, mom goes nuts, she gets killed, and Jason comes back to avenge her murder. Fueled by her voice and his hatred, he goes on a rampage.
In FORSAKEN, he’s dragged into Area 51, where he gets his chainsaw and continues his rampage.
He’s the only killer that actually hears voices mid-match — and it’s Pamela Voorhees urging him to kill.
Summary & Game Links
If you love melee pressure killers, ability shutdowns, and high-damage brawls, Jason is your go-to in Roblox FORSAKEN. He’s punishing to learn, but rewarding to master — especially if you’re good at reading survivors and timing your cooldowns.
